Andrew Downing is the musical director and double bassist in The Spiegel Show. He leads his own groups; Melodeon, which plays original silent film scores, and Great Uncles of the Revolution, who won a Juno Award for the Great Uncles record Blow the House Down. He plays many styles of music from Jazz to Bluegrass to New Music, and has played with David Tronzo, Nexus, Zubot and Dawson, Kelly Joe Phelps, Orchestra London and Patricia O'Callaghan. He practices the unusual craft of tuning his bass in fifths.

Pianist
Tania Gill is a pianist, composer and arranger and has worked extensively in Canada's jazz and improvised music scenes. She is a member of The Flying Bulgar Klezmer Band, Andrew Downing's Melodeon, Saint Dirt Elementary School, Deep Dark United, Blah Blah 666, Runcible Spoon and John Millard's Happy Day. She leads the trio The Mighty Gill Show and has recently formed a band with drummer Jean Martin and bassist Victor Bateman.

Christina Verdoni is currently attending George Brown College's Commercial Dance Studies program. She was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario and has competed all across Canada and the United States. May Wilkinson is a graduate of Western University and Randolph Academy. Jackie is a graduate of the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts and has since starred in such productions as Side by Side by Sondheim (RAPA), Oklahoma! Rob Merrifield originates from Windsor where he performed/choreographed for dance theatres & the Windsor Light Opera Association. Studying dance, theatre, vocal, and combat at Randolph Academy he's since performed in musicals; Anne & Emily, Charlottetown. Music videos; Alanis Morisette, industrials, fashion shows, children's theatre, and as Indigo in West Side Story. He is also performing/choreographing with Les Coquettes across the GTA. Kaitlyn Regehr aka Bitsy Maidenhead
Kaitlyn is a graduate of University of Victoria's Phoenix Theater's acting program. Kaitlyn has performed in the Toronto Fringe Festival, the Tarragon Spring Arts Fair, Summerworks Festival and in her new film, The Strange Case of DJ Cosmic with Sundialtech Pictures. Kaitlyn will spend July training with The Moscow Art Theater at Harvard University. She would like to dedicate this performance to the "ladies who teach me how to shake it" at Flirty Girl Fitness.
Krystal White aka Velvet Browne
A Toronto native, Krystal grew up in the suburbs just west of the city. A dance teacher and choreographer, Krystal is happy to be working on land after dancing for Carnival Cruise Line. A Randolph Academy graduate, she has been fortunate to dance with legendary artists; including Gregory Hines. She is elated to join Les Coquettes as Velvet Browne in the World Premier of The Spiegel Show. Krystal sends her thanks to Dan and her family.
Adele Mackenzie aka Evilyn Widowmaker
Adele has had a varied career as an entertainer. She has performed on stages across North America in stage shows, in dance companies and in music videos, movies and television. Musical Theatre credits include; Hello Dolly, The Tempest, Anything Goes, Guys and Dolls (Stratford), Twist and Shout (Drayton), Beauty and the Beast (London Grand), Top Hat White Tie and Tails (Stirling Festival). Choreography credits include; The History of Rock and Roll, Legends Alive, Grease and Disco Fever.
Alicia Darling aka Tempest Fortuna
Alicia is currently enrolled in the Commercial Dance Studies program at George Brown College. Prior to studying at George Brown, Alicia was a member of the Toronto-based jazz group, The Dance Company, with whom she performed at various events including Toronto Streetfest and Toronto Lynx soccer games, as well as on television on The Toronto Show. Alicia was also a dancer, and later the choreographer, at Club Maeva, a resort located in Tampico, Mexico.
Marika Schwandt aka Butterscotch Jones
Marika Schwandt is a dancer, actor and playwright with cabaret and revolution in her blood. Marika trained at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School before leaving the murder capital of Canada for Toronto. Recent film credits include 3 Things My Mother doesn't Know About Me, Hot Foam, and Flour. Marika's first co-authored play, Hazards of Occupation, premiered in May to outstanding review. Look for Marika in The Lesson at the 2007 Toronto Fringe Festival.
Dana Bondy aka Georgie Gates
Dana Bondy is also a well known instructor and performer with the Honeykats dance company and Dance Kraze Productions. Other credits include the upcoming feature film Hank and Mike, as well as performing West Side Story and Moulin Rouge. Jen Georgopoulos
A former competitive gymnast, Jen Georgopoulos trained as a stunt performer in fight choreography, fire work and high falls before eventually turning her determined gaze to the world of circus arts. She currently specializes in the dramatic dynamics of the aerial disciplines with Zero Gravity Circus, including solo static trapeze & aerial silks.
Peter Loung
Peter Loung is an accomplished martial artist whose exceptional discipline was recognized by special invitation to train with the famed Shoalin Temple of China. Peter also dedicates his remarkable focus to the demands of the circus arts, including hand balancing and aerial straps - a breathtaking aerial act centres that on exquisite control, supreme confidence and outstanding technique.

Sean Rooney is an innovative Canadian balloon artist, comedian and visionary who has been perfecting his craft for over 20 years. Symbolism, scientific principles, creativity & manual dexterity inform his work which has been noted for its diversity the world over. His global experience ranges from European cabarets to international festivals to private events of all kinds.
Aygul Memet & Gulnar Wayit
Aygul & Gulnar were schooled in the circus disciplines from early childhood. Having been chosen for their natural talent, they began the rigorous training for which the north western part of China (Uyghur) is known. They have showcased their skills throughout Asia, Europe and North America, winning a number of awards along the way. Now a part of the Silk Road Acrobats troupe, they have been working with Toronto's Zero Gravity Circus since relocating to Canada in 2005.
Maleke Duncan-Reid
Born in Jamaica, Maleke has always been an all-star athlete. Along with a host of other accomplishments, he played on the provincial soccer team before shifting his focus to global gymnastics competition with Team Canada. He is currently cultivating his extraordinary physical prowess with Zero Gravity Circus in the art of hand balancing and hand-to-hand - a demonstration of intense concentration, incredible stamina and brute strength.
Heather Kentner
After completing an Honours BA in environmental studies at the University of Toronto, Heather began training in the circus arts - a natural continuation of a successful career in competitive gymnastics. She has since showcased her exceptional talent alongside many circus professionals and with a variety of circus companies using trapeze, double trapeze, silks and the classic aerial hoop. She currently performs with Toronto's Zero Gravity Circus.

Kyra Millan
Soprano Kyra Millan has enjoyed a varied career as opera soloist, artist educator, actress and dancer. As a singer, she has performed numerous times with Toronto Sinfonietta, Calyx Concert Series, Northumberland Orchestra, Georgetown Bach Chorale, Summer Opera Lyric Theatre and was the subject of a televised recital and interview for BRAVO! Television. Kyra is also passionate about teaching, has a private studio and designs and directs education and outreach programs with the Canadian Opera Company.
Jean Stilwell
Jean Stilwell is famous for her twenty-five blisteringly sexy Carmens in Canada, the US, Britain and Japan. She continues to perform on the opera and concert stages, as well as in her new cabaret show, Carmen Unzipped. Jean just finished exercising her comedic chops in the world premiere of Eric Idle's Oratorio Not the Messiah with the Toronto Symphony and their conductor Peter Oundjian. Bruce Horak
Bruce Horak is a professional actor, writer and musician. He is the co-creator of This Is Cancer! He has toured Canada with his company Monster Theatre and their hit show, The Canada Show  the Complete History of Canada in an Hour. As a playwright, Bruce has been nominated for a Betty Mitchell Award, and won the Just For Laughs Best Fringe Play Award. He has been cancerfree for 31 years.
Rebecca Northan
Rebecca Northan is a professional actor, writer, director. She is the co-creator of This Is Cancer! She has appeared in theatres across Canada and is an alumna of the Second City. She has been nominated for a Gemini, a Dora, and five Canadian Comedy Awards. Her series, Alice I Think airs on the Comedy Network. She has also been a guest host on This Hour Has 22 Minutes. The Rumoli Brothers are a contemporary comedy duo in the classic tradition of duos from the 50's and 60's. In addition to playing comedy clubs, they created and produced the Canadian Comedy Award-winning musical, SARSical. Their newest project, An Inconvenient Musical, is a satire on our current climate crisis, and will premiere this July at the Toronto Fringe Festival.

Originally from "out west", Rae Ellen has been acting professionally for fifteen years. Alberta acting credits include roles at ATP, Theatre Calgary and Quest Theatre, and in Toronto, OTA for Theatre Ephemera, The Old Neighborhood for East/West Theatre Company, Lemon Water for the Summerworks Festival, Dwarf for Equity Showcase Theatre and Romeo and Juliet for LKTYP. On TV she appeared as recurring characters on Queer as Folk and This is Wonderland, and was featured in the BRAVO! series Actors Notes. She also appears in the feature films All You Got, and the highly weird cult-thriller Horsie's Retreat. The Williamson Playboys
The Williamson Playboys, the oldest living father-and-son Cajun music duo, are characters created by Second City alumni Paul Bates (tuba) and Doug Morency (ukulele). Their musical career spans over 100 years, and they claim to have invented almost all modern music. When not being the Playboys, Bates and Morency are busy actor/writers. Little Joe is an actor/vaudevillian from Montrealifax. Marie F. Forcier is a contemporary dance artist. Raised in Montreal, she is a 2002 scholarship recipient from CEGEP de Saint-Laurent's dance program and a 2005 graduate from The School of Toronto Dance Theatre. Forcier has produced and created works that have been presented in several venues of Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Quebec City, Lyon (France), Shanghai (China) and soon Victoria for ROMP! and New York City for OMI.

Lopa Sarkar trained in Toronto for 20 years in the classical Indian dance form of Bharatanatym. She then moved to London (U.K.) where she choreographed, performed and taught Bollywood dance. Rex Harrington
Born in Peterborough, Ontario, Rex Harrington has been dancing his way across the world’s most glamorous ballet stages since the early 1980s. Harrington, who was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in February 2000, hung up his pointe shoes with the National Ballet in May 2004. But the 41-year-old consummate performer promises he's not ready to leave the spotlight yet. Tanya Cheex staged her first "strip show" at the age of eight in her neighbor's backyard. Sauci performs with Skin Tight Outta Sight Rebel Burlesque. She is a social worker by day, burlesque vixen by night! Sexy Mark Brown
Mark has been performing comedy and dance since high school. One fateful day in the summer of 2003, he saw a poster advertising an amateur burlesque night at Lee's Palace. He almost wimped out but his exhibitionist tendencies got the better of him. During the show Mark was "scouted" by Toronto's Skin Tight Outta Sight burlesque troupe. He was soon honoured to become a full-time member and has been performing with them ever since.
Haley Shannon aka Billie Black
Haley Shannon has been acting professionally for the last four years. She played "The Little Miss" in Theatre Onslaughts production of La Ronde, directed by Lewis Baumander and her film and television experience includes roles on Queer as Folk, The Best Years, Instant Star and a leading role in Dark Rising, a feature film directed by Andrew Cymek. She has performed as sexy lounge singer Billie Black in many productions of Les Coquettes Nouveau Burlesque.

Since the age of 14, Sonya has sung for her supper, for musicals and for jingles. She has released 2 CDs, had 3 music videos on air and can be heard regularly on Jazz FM. Stephanie Bickford aka Miss Honey B. Hind
Stephanie Bickford is a member of Skin Tight Outta Sight and has performed with Les Coquettes Nouveau Burlesque, Mysterion's Girlesque Review and Miss Mitzy Cream's Kitten Revue. Some of her favorite routines are homage to the fabulous film stars of the 30's & 40's. CoCo La Crème
CoCo is a dazzling shaker and maker who performs burlesque both as a solo artist and with local troupe Skin Tight Outta Sight. She has also performed in Montreal, New York and Los Angeles and she is thrilled to be part of the Spiegel Show. CoCo teaches burlesque at Good For Her and the Toronto Women's Bookstore and is a published poet who has moderated the panel at the Feminist Porn Awards for the past two years. coco_la_creme@yahoo.ca

Tina Rasmussen joined the staff of Harbourfront Centre in 1999 as Associate Artistic Director for the 2000 du Maurier World Stage festival. Since then she has served as Project Manager of World Leaders: A Festival of Creative Genius, as Co-Artistic Producer for SUPERDANISH: Newfangled Danish Culture, Artistic Director of World Stage: Flying Solo and Artistic Director of New World Stage International Performance Series.

Erika comes from Kerrobert, Saskatchewan and has loved working in Toronto theatre for the last few years.
